AUTHORโS POV:
The Crime Cell was unusually quiet for that hour.
Not silentโnever truly silentโbut subdued. The low hum of computers, the occasional shuffle of papers, and the distant murmur of voices created a restrained rhythm, like a place that never really sleptโฆ only slowed down.
Inside his cabin, Aarav sat alone.
The glass walls around him reflected faint outlines of the office beyond, while the soft white light above his desk cast a focused glow over the files spread in front of him. His posture was slightly leaned forward, one elbow resting on the arm of his chair, the other hand flipping through pages with practiced precision.
A new case.
