AHSAAS’S POV:

The room was wrapped in a soft golden glow, illuminated only by the warm light of the bedside lamp. Outside, the world continued as it always did, but in that moment it felt impossibly distant—reduced to nothing more than a forgotten noise beyond the walls of my room.

All I could feel was him.

All I could think about was him.

I lay beneath Advait, my back pressed against the mattress, my pulse beating so violently that I was certain he could feel it through the small space that remained between us.

Not that there was much distance left.
